This is post number 28 in a series of cargo securing advice and useful hints. These are meant for people who think economically. They do not like to waste time, muscle power, risk their health or pay fines.

Right device for right job is a well-known fact. Unfortunately the real life seldom offers the right tools for the job.

Even if you have the tools you need to use the correct one for each case and see to that they are in good condition.

To left a picture of an other way to attach a strap to the cant rail. It has an advantage as you may easily move it to correct location. But what happens when years go by and some wear takes place? And if you don’t move it when you should? The breaking strength is hardly what it was when new and becomes the weakest link.
