Driving without cargo securing? Yes and No, depends on if you fulfill all the requirements.

Rule nr. 1: supporting force from the construction must be written in a sign outside the trailer front headboard and you cannot stress the walls more.

  • If you cannot find a sign telling you how much you can rely on the walls you have to secure the cargo.

Rule nr. 2: the cargo has to be uniform and the cargo height has up to be at least 75% of the wall height.

  • If your cargo is not the same material up to ¾ of the wall height you will not comply with this rule and you have to secure the cargo without any help of the construction in that particular direction.

Rule nr. 3: there must not be empty space in the cargo base larger than 15 cm in any direction total

  • If you unload an item from a trailer that otherwise fulfill the rules and you create an empty space larger than 15 cm in any direction, you will have to secure the cargo without any help of the truck construction in that particular direction.
